Robert Louis Stevenson Museum

Scottish Author Robert Louis Stevenson museum lived in Samoa in the late 19th century. He died here and is buried atop Mt Vaea. Books - Treasure Island, The strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Kidnapped and other famous stories. The tour visits his residence at Vailima. Alofa'aga Blowholes

Mt Matavanu Crater

In 1905 Mt Matavanu blew its top sending lava toward the ocean. The second swim of the series is in the Lava basin formed from that explosion. The Tour is accessed by vehicle via a 10km access road - limited numbers. Duration - 3hrs $50 ($80) |

Dwarves' Cave &

Historical Site - From an inconspiciuous entrance you will go underground to a cave that was inhabited by dwarfs, so the tale goes, but the truth can be seen in the interior of the dwelling. From the Cave we visit the next near attraction at the Mataolealelo Cold Pool. The legend of Sina and the Eel was born here that explains the origins of the Coconut tree in Samoa. Lava Field
