Warrior Race
Half Iron Distance
We are proud of this race. It is the only Half Iron triathlon distance that is being held in the South Pacific Islands. The Race has been running since 2013, next year in 2020 will be our 8th Year. It is not a big event with Entries, but a magnificent friendly race in Samoa's pristine South East Coastline. Originally, it was based in Apia with the Bike course going out to Le Mafa Pass. In our third year it was moved to the Lalomanu Course where it is now. The Roads are better here and the scenery more attractive and the atmosphere is great.
The coup for 2020 is Warrior Half IM distance will double as the OCEANIA ITU LONG COURSE CHAMPIONSHIP. This has been sanctioned by the Oceania Triathlon Union (OTU) and ITU in recognition of the work Samoa Events and the Samoa Triathlon Federation did in running a near perfect Triathlon event at the 2019 Pacific Games. As an ITU sanctioned race, Warrior will be a qualifier Race for the Townsville 2021 Townsville ITU Long Course. So the reward of so many years running this race with whoever may come is now becoming a Regional championship race. We invite you to come to Samoa and measure yourself against the Warrior course. See you in August 2020. Half IM Long Triathlon'A'au 2km

Beat the Heat
Olympic-like Distance
Beat the Heat (BTH) is an Olympic-like distance race. The difference is the Bike where the ride is 40 km. BTH was added in 2014 and has been running since. It is open to Solo entries and Teams. The late start of the race, two hours after the Warrior Start earned this race its name. It was designed to finish together with Warrior. BTH runs on a shorter Bike course, and the same run course with fewer laps.
